May 13, 2013 by Alexa D. My boyfriend and I wanted to do something that was different than the traditional costumes that you purchase at the Halloween store. We both grew up watching Bob Ross paint and still make jokes about happy little trees to this day so when I got the idea for this costume he was all for it.

For a Halloween party we made a Bob Ross and his "Happy Tree" couple costume. For Bob Ross we used a wig, attachable beard, and a paint palette from the Dollar Store. The tree was created from a dress that was hot glued with over 150 fall leaves. A nest with birds was put in my hair to finish it off!
